We are fully trained in several healing techniques including herbal medicine, nutrition, cupping, lifestyle recommendations and various acupuncture styles to ease your discomfort and aid you in reclaiming your health and happiness.

We have helped many of our patients who were told there is no hope… and that they would never get better. We will not give up on you. Through research and consultation we will look for treatments and modalities that can make a difference with your health goals, never constrained to just one technique. We will always work with our patients to find the best path to take.

TCM/Herbal Medicine

Traditional Chinese Medicine is a complete medical system. It includes a diagnostic methodology by asking a series of specific questions, feeling the qualities of the pulse on each wrist and observation of the different qualities of the tongue, and of a person’s overall affect. This is why each person we treat is diagnosed and prescribed therapy and herbal blends that are specific and unique to their condition and constitution.

Chinese herbs have been in use for well over 2000 years or more. There are hundreds of herbs in our Materia Medica that we have access to. A deep understanding of each herb goes far beyond knowing the chemical composition but must be understood on an energetic level to adjust the body’s own energetic needs. Our herbs rarely work singularly but most often with other herbs to create a symphony that helps the body achieve balance and harmony. Each plant, mineral and/or substance included in our pharmacy has had each part identified for different healing purposes. For example, many parts of a single plant may be used such as seeds, roots, stems, leaves and flowers. Each part of the plant is prepared differently and in a specific manner to be used for different imbalances and organ systems.

Knowledge of Chinese Herbal Medicine takes many years to master and our herbalists have had many years of additional training and practice beyond the four years of regular TCM schooling. Each of our practitioners have interned privately with TCM doctors from China for multiple years. Together we have a combined 30 years of herbal experience.
